  • At this time, Empower Therapies does not accept insurance and are private pay only. However, we do accept payment via card, cash and check and will provide a Superbill that you can submit to insurance if you have out-of-network benefits.

  • Evaluations or treatments must be canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. Not canceling within the 48 hour grace period will result in a $20 fee for a missed treatment and $50 for a missed evaluation.

  • At this time Empower Therapies provides services via Teletherapy, in the community or the comfort of your home! We hope to have a physical location within the next year!

  • Choosing private pay offers several benefits:

    • Access to unlimited sessions without restrictions on quantity or frequency imposed by insurance.

    • Coverage for habilitative or developmental diagnoses often excluded by insurance, such as articulation, stuttering, and language disorders.

    • The flexibility to target personalized client goals without insurance limitations.

    • A fully customizable treatment plan designed to meet your specific needs, without requiring prior insurance approval.

    • Services for clients who may not qualify for speech and language therapy through insurance or school systems, but still require specialized support.

    • No referral is needed to schedule an evaluation or begin treatment.
